Dear Members, I trust that 2025 has started on a fantastic note for each of you. As we step into this exciting new year, I took some time this past week to set up our event calendar for the year ahead. This calendar highlights all our main events, ensuring you never miss a chance to enjoy and participate in the vibrant Pinnacle Point Golf Club’s community. On the right-hand side of the calendar, you’ll notice a color-coded guide showcasing the diverse events we have planned. These range from competitive tournaments and social gatherings to family-friendly days and special occasions.

Please take a moment to review the calendar, mark your dates, and plan ahead to join in on the fun.

More fun in 2025 The

GAME-CHANGER

Quick question for you. What is the width of your dispersion pattern, first with the driver, and then your #7 iron?

Across 14 tee shots with the driver, it is NOT unusual to find regular golfers with a dispersion width of around 60 metres and more. With the #7 iron, 40 metres and more.

Reduce your dispersion numbers by just 10% and you will find yourself in more fairways and walking to a green with your putter out more often.

Five ways to reduce those numbers:
Stretching: Exercises that stretch out your hip flexors will help you maintain the proper posture through the golf swing. It is almost impossible to build consistency into a golf swing without that stability.
Strength: Stability (and power) is also improved with stronger core muscles, including your glutes. There are simple exercises that don’t need weights to build core strength.
Trail Wrist Action: Your trail arm wrist (right wrist for right-handers) controls the face angle at impact. Can you improve both your understanding of the correct action AND the execution of the action?
Swing Plane: Ball flight is a combination of your clubhead path AND face angle at impact. Too few golfers get the club onto a good swing plane on the downswing. They make it very difficult for themselves to attack the ball with a good swing path.
Club Fitting: There are so many ways a poorly fitted golf club gets in the way of you making solid square contact with a golf ball.

What’s your CHOICE?

We can help with a fitness program. We can help with a practice plan. We can help with an improvement plan. We can help with a club fitting. But, all improvement starts with a conversation about you and your goals first.

Introducing
New Frontiers
A new metal. Restrictions removed. I-FLEX innovation in the face. Dual flex zones. Three new models.
The standard ZXi all-rounder that will work for many of our good and better golfers. You’ll notice added distance created by faster ball speeds off the face. Two flex zones deliver that added ball speed more often. Two adjustable sole weights allow you to calibrate your preferred ball flight and shot shape.

The ZXi Max is the most forgiving in this line-up. A naturally higher ball flight and draw bias will complement the improved consistency with extra distance.

A rear sole weight allows you to set up the swing weight and feel you prefer.

Those with a faster swing speed and a more

consistent strike, will probably prefer the ZXi LS.

Two adjustable sole weights at the front and rear allow you to adjust the amount of spin created to maximise your distance.

Which frontier do you
want to explore?

The new face metal and design allow the ZXi Woods to break free of previous restrictions on ball speed and distance, shot shape and consistency. Where would improvement change your experience?
