As March begins, the last 3 months we have seen record numbers of golfers playing at Pinnacle Point and the feedback we have received has been very positive and encouraging. The general consensus from other golf outlets across the region is that golf business has been very good in the Garden Route during this season. The major benefit to us as a club is that we find ourselves in a healthy financial position despite the notion golf is supposed to be a declining industry. This should pave the way for an exciting future at Pinnacle and with further developments planned for the up-grade of the clubhouse facilities due to begin later this year, we are one of a few courses able to boast continual and on-going improvements. The course and our practice facilities remain in immaculate condition thanks to the on-going care and attention we are able to give it.

As we head in to autumn, there are signs that the number of rounds is beginning to ease up but I would still strongly urge anyone wanting to play on our course to make reservations in advance to avoid being left disappointed by not being able to get a tee time by simply turning up and hoping to play. Pre-bookings for March are still very positive and I do not expect the season to end much before Easter.

At the end of last month, AJ returned from sitting his Year 3 and final PGA exams and by all accounts, it seems that this usually nerve wrecking ordeal was not as bad as he first thought. Results will be known within the next 2 months and I am sure he will have qualified with flying colours.

Here’s to another great weekend.
